The Great Censor and Cinderella
My intuition has always given me clear signs with reference to the fact that most teachers enjoy reading literature and would very much like to engage their students in it. Sometimes all we need, apart from love, is tips and this is the idea behind this article. I hope you may find it useful.
Power for a teacher resides in the fact that it is she who decides what will be read and discussed in each one of her lessons. Teachers thus become highly powerful censors of their students’ reading horizons. The teacher is the Great Censor of the Realm, a realm that may look poor in terms of (...)
