Great Sala in Paysandu
PAD from Salto Aldo Rodriguez and PAD from Rio Negro Alice Zapata organized a Sala Regional in Paysandu
Nearly 50 teachers from Paysandu and Young got together and spent a great mini seminar in Liceo N1 from Paysandu. Fellow Language Teacher Prof. Kelly Gardner from USA also joined us and shared her experience about assessment. Congatulations to the organizers!!

English Teachers from Rural Schools Come Together
On September 26th over 50 English teachers from rural schools came together for a day of training with their coordinator, Rosario Estrada. These English teachers are from very isolated areas so the opportunity to come together with their peers was welcomed. Rosario Estrada organized the event and taught English teaching strategies to the group.
Several guests also came to the training to work with teachers. Enrique Morrone from Pearson Publishing presented the text Uruguay in Focus to teachers. Inspectora Shirley Romano spoke to teachers about goals within the English programs. (...)
